Just a few minutes from Saint-Tropez, Lily of the Valley hotel lies in the unspoilt landscape of the Domaine du Cap Lardier. This protected area acts as the lungs of the French Riviera. The 5 km fine sand Gigaro Beach is just below: a modest and still-wild beach that is one of the largest in the region.
Unusually for the Côte d’Azur, this setting is perfect for outdoor sports like mountain biking, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding and beach yoga. Lily of the Valley's fantastic location also makes this a hotel where you feel you can truly relax. Time seems to stand still; every individual can do things at their own pace.
Lily of the Valley's unique setting is near vibrant Saint-Tropez and hotel residents can be driven to lively Pampelonne Beach and the sunny Sénéquier café terrace in just a few minutes. The Lily of the Valley story is also about the charm of Provence, the rich local soil and the legendary nearby towns on the French Riviera: Nice, Cannes and Monaco.
Tucked away beneath Virginia creepers and jasmine, Lily of the Valley peacefully co-exists with the natural surroundings it has quietly joined. The different living spaces where hotel residents harmoniously co-exist with the bountiful natural surroundings exude comfort, culture and generosity.
The first is the place that sees in every moment of the day: a combined lounge, bar and restaurant located in a vast glass and wood box above the Mediterranean. A generous and varied buffet breakfast is served here. Lunch can be eaten here at a time of day that is right for you. The different spaces are perfect for afternoon reading: by the pool on fine days and by the crackling wood-burning stove in cooler weather. Finally, intimate and convivial dinners are also served here.
The Village in the hotel parkland is the beating heart of the Lily of the Valley philosophy. Covering 2000 square metres, it is devoted to sport and well-being. The Village welcomes Lily of the Valley residents seeking support with their health goals and offers a gym, class studios, a 25-metre lap pool, seven consultation and treatment rooms, two saunas, a large hammam and a snow shower. Supported and motivated by a team of professionals, guests benefit from a context conducive to helping them fulfil their ambitions.
At Lily of the Valley, humans embrace nature to be a place of balance, well-being and caring. It is imbued with this vision that designer Philippe Starck has imagined a hotel that does not impose itself on its environment. It blends in. Adapts to it.
Philippe Starck, a creator with an international reputation and protean inventiveness, has always focused on the essential, his vision: that creation, whatever form it takes, makes life better for the greatest number of people. He has constantly pushed the limits and criteria of design, becoming one of the most visionary and recognized creators on the international contemporary scene.
By imagining Lily of the Valley, Philippe Starck designed a hotel that does not impose itself on Nature, but adapts to it. Inspired by Babylon's hanging gardens, the architecture of Provençal abbeys and the design of Californian villas, the designer has designed forty-four rooms and suites with comfort, culture and generosity. In this park with its lush vegetation, Nature recovers its rights over mineral buildings that seem to have always been there.
